Designed to match its iconic aluminum suitcases, RIMOWA has returned with a brand new sub-label: RIMOWA Eyewear. The new selection of sunglasses and optical glasses are meant for daily wear and travel, coming in three different unisex styles.

The frames are lightweight and sleek but boast hardwearing details that can “withstand the rigors of travel,” as per a press release. Each piece comes with a protective pouch. The styles—RIMOWA Bridge, RIMOWA Rim, RIMOWA Air—feature two pieces of overlaid nylon and metal mask, attached by visible pins that mirror the industrial rivets that inform the luggage (Bridge), a minimal facade, with acetate hand-applied to the lens to add a pop of tortoiseshell or muted black (Rim), and stock lenses ready to be swapped out for the wearer’s prescription, as it is the optical line (Air).
